Single item delivery prices

One item, local

Most booked

from

£45

Within North Ayrshire. A sofa, bed, wardrobe or appliance, collected and delivered.

Two or three items

from

£75

Same trip, same run. Much cheaper than booking each one separately.

One item, longer distance

from

£95

Into Glasgow, Paisley or Ayr, or anywhere with a real drive at one end.

Two-person heavy item

from

£120

Sofas up stairs, American fridges, safes and anything one person shouldn’t lift.

What that price actually is. These are starting prices for straightforward local jobs at ground level. Stairs, tight access and long drives change it — tell us and it’s in the quote rather than a surprise when we arrive.

What moves the price up or down

The size and weight of the item

A dining chair and a three-seater sofa are very different jobs. Dimensions help, a photo helps more.

Stairs at either end

A sofa going up two flights needs two people and a plan. It’s the single biggest factor on this kind of job.

How far apart the two addresses are

Local runs around Ayrshire are cheapest. Anything with a real drive at one end adds to it.

Whether it needs two people

Anything heavy, awkward or going upstairs does. We’d rather send two than damage your item or our backs.

Timing

If it can go on a day we’re already passing, it’s cheaper. Ask and we’ll tell you when that is.

Whether it needs dismantling

Sofas that won’t fit through doors sometimes need feet or arms off. We can do it, just flag it first.

What's included, and what isn't

Included in the price

Standard on every job, at no extra cost.

Not included

Available, but quoted separately so nothing is hidden.

Stage three

Your slot is confirmed

With the date and an arrival window. We'll tell you if we can do it sooner.

Single item questions

How much does it cost to deliver a sofa?

Ours start at £45 for a single item moved locally within North Ayrshire, £95 for longer runs into Glasgow or Ayr, and £120 where the item needs two people or is going up stairs. Send us the two postcodes and a photo and you’ll get a fixed price.

That’s the question worth asking before you buy, not after. Send us the item dimensions and a photo of the doorway or stairwell and we’ll give you an honest answer — including if the answer is no.

Yes, both are routine for us. For a private seller we’ll need a contact number and a window when they’re in. For a store, the order reference and collection point.

Yes, but tell us when you book. Stairs are the difference between a one-person and a two-person job, and getting that wrong on the day means either damage or a job we can’t finish.

Usually yes, but it’s quoted separately because tip charges apply. Mention it when booking and we’ll price both together.

Might be a better fit

Man and van

More than a few items, or a job that’ll take a couple of hours.

House removals

Moving a whole home rather than one piece of furniture.

Bikes and machines

Motorbikes, quads and jet skis rather than furniture.
