The people who'll actually turn up

Four of us, and you’ll meet at least two on the day. Tap anyone to see what they’re trained in and how long they’ve been doing this.

The certificates themselves

Front is the badge. Turn one over for what it covers, who issued it and when it renews.

Why any of this matters

Not a criticism of anyone in particular — just what the paperwork actually buys you when something goes wrong.

What you're checking Accredited mover Unaccredited

Plenty of good operators are working without every badge on this page — including us, on two of them. The point isn’t the logo, it’s whether you can check the answer rather than take someone’s word for it.

How we got here

Certification isn’t a launch-day checklist. This is the order we added things, and what’s next.

The standards we work to

Our own code, in the absence of holding someone else’s yet. Six things, written down so you can hold us to them.

01

Quote honestly

We ask enough questions up front that the price doesn't need to change later. If we can't price it accurately without seeing it, we come and see it.

02

Communicate before you have to chase

Confirmation in writing, a reminder the day before, and a call from us if we're running late — not a call from you asking where we are.

03

Protect before you lift

Blankets, straps and floor protection go down before anything is carried. It's not an upsell and it's not optional.

04

Carry only what we're covered and equipped for

If a job needs kit or cover we don't have, we say so and point you elsewhere rather than improvising.

05

Dispose of waste lawfully

Registered carrier, waste transfer note every time, reusable items donated rather than tipped.

06

Put mistakes right quickly

If we get something wrong, we fix it and we say what we changed. Publicly, where the complaint was public.

Certification questions

If yours isn’t here, phone us. We’d rather answer it properly than have you guess.

Why aren't you a BAR member?

Because we don’t meet the requirements yet, and we’d rather say that than imply otherwise. It involves audited premises, procedures and financial checks, which take time for a young company. It’s on the list and we’ve said so publicly here so you can hold us to it.

Ask us for the certificate or registration number and check it at source — SEPA’s public register for waste carrier registration, and the insurer’s certificate for the policies. We’ll send whatever you ask for before your job.

Some do and some don’t. Waste carrier registration genuinely protects you from liability if your rubbish is flytipped. Manual handling training genuinely reduces damage and injury. A membership badge on a website, on its own, changes nothing — which is why we’ve listed issuers and status rather than just logos.

Tell us at the quote stage what they’ve asked for. If we hold it, we’ll send it straight to them. If we don’t, we’ll say so upfront rather than finding out on the day that we can’t get on site.

Ask us anything you want to verify

Registration numbers, certificates, or the current state of anything on this page. We’ll send it across.
