Two to three bed
3 crew · Luton van
Three people, one loading and two carrying, so the van is never idle.
Four bed and up
4 crew · Two vans
Full team and two vehicles, usually with a survey beforehand.
How a house move runs
Trainee
Works alongside a crew lead on every job. Manual handling before touching anything heavy, and never sent out alone.
Porter
Carries, wraps and packs independently. Load securing training and their PVG disclosure completed.
Crew lead
Decides how the van gets loaded and runs the job on site. The person you'll actually deal with on the day.
Driver
Drives the larger vehicles and takes the longer Scotland-wide runs. Driver CPC and its five-year cycle.
