What that price actually is. Starting prices for storage across a normal summer break. Longer stays, oversized items like bikes and mini-fridges, and international shipping are all quoted individually — ask and we’ll give you a real figure rather than a range.
What moves the price up or down
How much you're storing
We price by volume, not by a fixed unit. If you only need six boxes, you only pay for six boxes.
How long for
A ten-week summer break is the standard. Year-abroad storage over nine or twelve months is cheaper per month.
Whether we're collecting
Collection and redelivery is the part most students actually need, since nobody has a car in halls.
Oversized items
Bikes, mini-fridges, monitors and instruments don’t fit a box and get priced separately, usually not by much.
Where it goes back to
Redelivery to a different flat in the same city is included in the standard rate. A different city is quoted on the route.
International shipping
Sending things home overseas depends entirely on destination and weight. We’ll quote it properly rather than guess.

Number of boxes and anything oversized. We'll drop boxes and labels off before collection day if you need them.

From halls or a flat, on a day that suits. Everything is listed and labelled as it goes on the van.
We store and send you the list
You get an itemised inventory with photos, so you know exactly what's in storage.
We redeliver in September
To your new flat, even if it's a different address from the one we collected from.

Student storage questions
How much does student storage cost?
From £12 per box per month, or £180 for roughly a room’s worth across the summer break. Collection and redelivery is £45 each way. You pay for what you actually store rather than for a unit you half fill.
Do I have to get my stuff to you?
No, and that’s the point of it. We collect from your flat or halls, which matters when you don’t have a car and you’re flying home in three days. Collection is £45 and covers Glasgow, Paisley and the whole of Ayrshire.
What if I'm in a different flat in September?
That’s normal and it’s not a problem. Tell us the new address when you want it back and we’ll deliver there instead. Same city is included in the standard redelivery rate.
Is my stuff insured while you have it?
Yes, your belongings are insured while they’re in storage with us. Don’t store cash, jewellery, passports or documents though — not because of us, but because you’ll want those with you and no policy covers them well.
Can you ship things home instead of storing them?
Yes. UK shipping to a home address starts at £60 for a pallet or box run and is tracked. International shipping depends entirely on where and how much, so we’ll quote that individually rather than pretend there’s a flat rate.
